Mackintosh

The Mackintosh course, is named after Alfred Donald Mackintosh of Mackintosh the 28th Chief of Clan Mackintosh and Chief of Clan Chattan, who resided at Cottrell until his death in 1938. He made his Welsh seat a centre of lavish entertainment and social gatherings.

A True Parkland par 72 course with mature trees up to 300 years old. The Mackintosh provides 6568 challenging yards off the Championship Tees and is designed around the original features of the historic parkland. This well constructed course includes four Par 5’s, four Par 3’s and ten Par 4’s making the Mackintosh a testing but enjoyable walk.

Plan ahead for your visit to Cottrell and make the most of your round by studying the hole layouts and helpful playing tips supplied by our General Manager Mr Derek Smith. Click on the hole of your choice below for further details.
