Welcome to Cottrell Park
Cottrell Park boasts two magnificent golf courses, set in historic parkland that has been landscaped over several centuries. Views sweep as far as the Brecon Beacons and southwards over the Bristol Channel to the Mendips. The gently rolling parkland with stately trees, many hundreds of years old, combine to create a special charm that is Cottrell Park.
The golfing facilities include two championship designed golf courses, the Mackintosh and the Button Gwinnett, as well as an all weather driving range, two new surround golf simulators, two putting greens and on-course practice area. At Cottrell, golfers play off summer tees, fairways and greens throughout the year! Add to that the massive amount of investment ploughed back into the resort both on and off the courses, you have to admit Cottrell is definitely high in contention when considering a club to join or if arranging a short golf break or away day.
Last year saw the introduction of some exciting new activities which are ideal for a family day out. These include Segway tours around the park, nature trail, fishing, snooker & pool and not forgetting the state of the art golf simulators! (A first of their kind in the UK).
The Clubhouse offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, in which you can unwind after a hard day’s work or play and there is an extensive bar menu available throughout the day to tempt you. The sports lounge overlooking the patio and 18th green of the Button Gwinnett course, constructed late in 2008, has proved very popular with members and visitors alike with stand tables, chairs and Sky TV. This room is perfect for discussing your successes or disappointments after your game whilst enjoying a hearty meal and beverage of your choice.

Practice the right way with one of our two PGA Professionals. Lessons available to both Members and Visitors. Choose from individual, group or on-course lessons or book a series of six lessons and pay for just five!
