Cottrell Park Golf Resort
Cottrell Park has introduced some exciting new activities to benefit both its members and visitors. Offering 'More than Golf' the resort provides added value to its membership as well as the local community.
Members are provided with free use of the brand new snooker and pool room, free fishing in the resorts private lake and use of the nature trail surrounding the 400 acres of stunning parkland. The two three dimensional golf simulators are also free to members wishing to use them within their membership category playing rights and subject to booking and availability.
Non members are welcome to use all the facilities at the resort upon registration and payment of the applicable entry fees.
The Golf simulators are extremely accurate and are equipped with several cameras, which are angled to assist in video analysis of your swing, where you are able to take a copy of the video home with you on a USB pen for further analysis. The clubs own two courses have been mapped in addition to the already loaded 107 national and international courses including the likes of St Andrews, Pebble Beach, The Emirates and The 2010 Ryder Cup Course at Celtic Manor.
The Snooker and Pool room is located next door to the golf reception and is available to Members free of charge. Visitors may also use the Tables for a small charge. There are two full sized Snooker Tables and Two Pool Tables.
A trail has been developed through and around the park, with spectacular views and is available to members free of charge for walking or jogging. Visitors are also welcome to use the trial following registration and paying a £2 per person access free. The trial surrounds the fishing lake, which is stocked with carp, roach and few domestic fish. Members are permitted to Fish for free and visitors are again welcome upon registration and settlement of the £5 per day access fee. Children under 16 years are free of charge provided they are supervised by an adult.
