Merrick's restaurant at Cottrell Park is built in the style of a prestigious Parkland Estate and provides a friendly and comfortable atmosphere in which to relax, after a hard days’ work or play! The 145-cover restaurant is framed in traditional stone with exposed wooden beams, pillars and wood floor creating a distinct cottage feel. The kitchen produces good quality home-cooked food and the menu is extensive from snack items such as cheesy chips to main courses like Thai vegetable curry or traditional meat lasagne with chips and garlic bread to children's meals. There is also a breakfast menu, sandwiches and baguettes, jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings and a tempting dessert selection.
The sports lounge which was constructed in 2008 is a perfect addition to the building offering an informal area with stand tables and chairs and two large televisions with Sky sports. An ideal room to discuss the successes or disappointments of your game prior to sitting down to a hearty meal with a beverage of your choice.
Merrick's serves traditional British cuisine and is ideal for a lunch stop, family gathering or business meals alike. The staff are friendly and the homely ambience will help you relax after a hard days work or play.
Our Merrick's restaurant is open to both members and non members and serves a wide range of dishes. There is no need to reserve a table, simply note your table number and order at the bar, then sit back and relax and take in the view.
